Election to the National Academy of Engineering is a very prestigious honor. Seven of our 20 faculty are NAE members, the highest proportion of any ChE department. (Reference: Chem. Eng. Educ., 2003)

 

Jacob Israelachvili is also a member of the National Academy of Science and a Fellow of the Royal Society (UK), also exceptional honors.
