Patrick Daugherty Receives the 2007 ACS Young Investigator Award

April 20, 2007 -- Professor Patrick Daugherty has been awarded the 2007 Young Investigator Award by the Biochemical Technology Division of the American Chemical Society.

This award recognizes his outstanding contributions to the field of protein engineering including the development of novel peptide display methodologies, fluorescent protein sensors, and library screening methodologies. He will receive this prestigious award at the Fall ACS meeting in Boston, MA, August 19-23, 2007 and deliver the BIOT Young Investigator Award Lecture. He joins an elite club of scientists and engineers who have made important contributions to this field.
