Professor Emeritus Dale Seborg elected Fellow of the International Federation of Automatic Control

Congratulations to Professor Emeritus Dale Seborg who has been made a Fellow of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC)! The IFAC is the worldwide organization tasked with promoting the science and technology of automatic control in all systems, whether for example, engineering, physical, biological, social or economic, in both theory and application. IFAC is also concerned with the impact of control technology on society.

Professor Seborg was elected to the IFAC "for technical accomplishments in process control education, research, and professional leadership." The IFAC Fellow Award is given to persons who have made outstanding and extraordinary contributions in the field of interest of IFAC, in the role as an Engineer/Scientist, Technical Leader, or Educator.

Professor Seborg will be presented the Fellow certificate and pin at the IFAC World Congress in Toulouse, France in July 2017.
