The Amgen-Clorox Graduate Student Symposium is a one day forum for graduate students to present their research. It is designed to highlight ongoing work in the department as well as foster connections with industry. The symposium consists of oral presentations throughout the day, a poster session and lunch, and a catered evening reception. This years industrial keynote speaker is Dan Hickman, PhD, from Dow Chemical.
Research sessions include:
- Bioengineering of non-model organisms
- Functional biomaterials
- Soft materials processing
- Inorganic materials and catalysis
